The announcement of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University regarding the cancellation of setting up measures to monitor government offices and inspections as the Office of the Secretary-General of the Cabinet has issued a resolution of the Cabinet on January 23, 2024, the Cabinet has resolved to have the Ministry of Education (educational institutions under its supervision, including other ministries with educational institutions under their supervision such as the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, The Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Innovation of Thailand, as well as the Royal Thai Police Headquarters, have been exempted from complying with the Cabinet resolution dated July 6, 1999 (concerning the amendment, revision, or cancellation of the Cabinet resolution regarding the establishment of duty posts for guarding government offices) and assigned the Ministry of Interior and the Royal Thai Police Office (the agencies under each area) to coordinate with schools in each area to send officials to perform duties to ensure the peace and security of the said schools, both during official hours and outside of official hours as necessary and appropriate.

To live and act in accordance with the powers granted under Articles 27 and 31 (1) of the Rajabhat University Act, 2004, together with the urgent memorandum from the Office of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, number 1505/ว37 dated January 25, 2024, hereby cancels the provision of on-duty security measures at the government premises and inspection duties of Rajabhat Suan Sunandha University. Effective immediately from the announcement date of February 12, 2024.
