Bathing Ceremony for Phra Buddha Sunanthakorn and the Statue of Queen Sunanda Kumariratana, with a Traditional Water-Pouring Blessing Ceremony

Tuesday, April 7, 2026
Assistant Professor Dr. Kaenphet Saranonwat, Vice President of Nakhon Pathom Campus, together with the Director of the Nakhon Pathom Campus Office, division directors, and staff, participated in the Songkran tradition preservation activity, including the ceremonial bathing of Phra Buddha Sunanthakorn and the replica statue of Queen Sunanda Kumariratana, The Queen Consort, as part of the 2026 Songkran celebration.

The ceremony was graciously attended by Associate Professor Dr. Ruedet Kerdwichai, Chairman of the University Council, and Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Srivibul, President of the University, along with university executives, who offered blessings to staff during the traditional Rod Nam Dam Hua (water-pouring ceremony to pay respect to elders).

The event was held at the Hall of Honor, 1st Floor, Building 32, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
