Communication Arts Joins in Preserving Thai Traditions with a Songkran Water Blessing Ceremony 2026

The College of Communication Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Nakhon Pathom Campus, led by Assistant Professor Kanphat U-Tapao, Dean of the College of Communication Arts, together with Dr. Somthob Kaewchuea, Associate Dean for Administration; Dr. Savitree Suwannano, Associate Dean for Planning and Quality Assurance; Dr. Supaporn Prajongjai, Head of the College Office; and staff members, participated in the Songkran water blessing ceremony.

The participants respectfully performed the ritual bathing of the Buddha image and paid homage to the statue of Queen Sunanda Kumariratana, The Queen Consort, seeking blessings for prosperity and good fortune in celebration of the Thai New Year (Songkran Festival).

This activity aimed to preserve the beauty of Thai cultural traditions while strengthening the bond among faculty members and staff of the College of Communication Arts, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, happiness, and positive beginnings during the Songkran festival.
