Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Nakhon Pathom Campus Celebrates Loy Krathong Tradition

On Friday, November 8, 2024, Assistant Professor Dr.Kanpetch Saranontawat, Vice President of Nakhon Pathom Campus, presided over the opening ceremony of the Loy Krathong Market event, "Market NPT SSRU Loy Krathong Festival 2024." The event welcomed students and the surrounding community to set up food and goods stalls. It encouraged students, staff, and local residents to explore a variety of food, products, enjoy movies, listen to live music by student bands, and participate in many fun activities at the campus dormitory area of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Nakhon Pathom.

 The project aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 1, which aims to end poverty in all forms and everywhere. Its objectives are to promote income-generating opportunities for the surrounding community, provide students with a source of income from selling products, and establish sustainable self-reliance pathways for both the community and students. It also supports Goal 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities, by creating a space for students to showcase their talents, use their free time constructively, and foster a positive relationship between the university and the community through collaborative activities.
