Learn and Benefit: First Aid and Basic Life Support Workshop

The Department of Education, in collaboration with the Sawang Benja Dharma Foundation, has developed a program to provide students with essential knowledge through a practical training workshop on "First Aid and Basic Life Support."

On May 8-9, 2568, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Nakhon Pathom Campus, in cooperation with the Sawang Benja Dharma Foundation, organized the "First Aid and Basic Life Support" workshop. This event took place at the Multi-Purpose Lecture Hall and Food Center, 2nd Floor. First aid and basic life support are crucial skills that can save lives in various emergency situations, such as car accidents, choking, heart attacks, or other injuries. Having these skills and knowledge can reduce the risk of fatalities and alleviate the severity of injuries.

One of the main reasons for organizing this workshop is to enhance the basic skills and knowledge of students in responding to emergencies. Knowing how to perform basic first aid, like CPR or stopping bleeding, can be life-saving in critical times. This knowledge also helps reduce panic and confusion when faced with situations requiring immediate assistance. Education and training in first aid and basic life support can significantly decrease death and injury rates from accidents or emergencies. Correct and timely assistance from individuals with fundamental knowledge can greatly improve situations.

Additionally, it promotes social responsibility. Students who have first aid knowledge are encouraged to take responsibility for those around them and the community as a whole. Having people ready to assist in the community creates a safer and more cohesive society.

Therefore, organizing the "First Aid and Basic Life Support" workshop is necessary and highly beneficial in many aspects, including increasing daily life safety, reducing death and injury rates, promoting social responsibility, and alleviating the burden on the public health system. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn and practice these skills to create a safer and healthier society.

Furthermore, this initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal 4, ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all
