Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University,
Nakhon Pathom Campus, promotes
extracurricular activities to develop
students holistically.
On November
13, 2025, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University, Nakhon Pathom Campus, by the
Student Development Department of the
Education Division, purchased two large
basketball backboards to promote
extracurricular activities and health
for students on campus. The goal is to
develop students holistically in terms
of physical, intellectual, emotional,
and social well-being.
Encouraging students to exercise and play sports regularly not only helps them stay physically fit but also leads to a clear mind, happiness, and readiness for learning. It represents a parallel development of physical and mental health, aligning with the university's student quality development, which aims to create "good, capable, and happy individuals." This initiative is part of driving policy toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, which promotes students' physical health, mental clarity, and happiness through exercise and sports. Goal 4: Quality Education focuses on developing students with desirable characteristics in physical, mental, intellectual, and social aspects to become quality citizens. Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, provides equal access to sports activities for all students. Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities develops campus spaces into learning resources and promotes sustainable well-being.
This equipment provision promotes health by developing physical skills and encouraging movement, and it also improves mental aspects such as concentration and patience, which can help students maintain better mental health and manage stress more effectively.
